On Tuesday February 15th, 2020, our SPE student chapter had its first Lunch-Learn of the semester with a great turnout of students and faculty.  We hosted Mr. Joe Frantz of Frantz and Associates, who is currently a Senior Executive Advisor at ResFrac Corporation.  Mr. Frantz shared with us the different complexities that ResFrac software is able to handle in order to simulate with greater accuracy hydraulic fracturing design.  Again, we would like to give a special thank you to Range Resources for sponsoring the lunch from Chick-fil-a!

Mr. Frantz explains how fractures in child (fill) wells can affect the production or possibly kill the production from the parent wells.
